History of Leonardo

2000-2006: From Production to Tech

Soon after our start as a production company, travel moved online. Hotels needed media distribution tools to get their photos to travel channels, and Leonardo builds the first one.

2007-2013: Continued Growth

We expanded to become VFM Leonardo, helping 10,000+ hotels with new technologies for the increasingly complex world of online travel bookings.

2014-2018: Value of Direct Booking

We launched our first hotel website CMS, making it easier for hotels to tell their story and share content on direct channels alongside our indirect distribution solutions.

2018-2020: Joining Jonas

In 2018, we found a permanent home as a member of Jonas Hospitality, a division of Constellation Software (TSE: CSU).

2020-2024: Expanding Functionality

In 2020 we joined forces with Achiga to help hoteliers manage content on direct channels in new and innovative ways.

2024 & Beyond: A New System

We introduced the next generation of distribution, LUCID content manager, which powers hotel brand's textual and visual content on direct and indirect channels.
